In our Facebook community, we’ve seen several members creating urban landscapes out of denim. This trend is both poetic and captivating: transforming worn-out jeans into imaginative neighbourhoods.
A collective rebuilding, stitched with joy and hope.
The idea has undoubtedly traveled far since Ian Berry. British artist and pioneer of the genre, who has been creating denim cityscapes among other iconic denim painting for over a decade.
What amazes me most today is seeing how this inspiration has evolved into a living, collective movement. The feeling of a shared creative city…one built by a global community of denim upcyclers, where each person adds their own block, their own story, their own home.
